Arnita Gadson, MA
Environmental Justice Specialist
Arnita's passion for bringing justice to communities that have been disadvantaged by an overwhelming burden of environmental contamination has led her to Revitalized Communities. Arnita has been helping these communities for decades. Besides her work with Revitalized Communities, she is the Executive Director of the West Jefferson County Community Task Force, an environmental justice 501c3 whose mission is to provide research and studies to validate or nullify environmental concerns and issues of Western Jefferson County, Louisville, Kentucky and empower residents to make informed decisions. She is also the NAACP Kentucky and Louisville chairperson for Environmental and Climate Justice. Before Arnita held these positions, she was the Executive Director of the Ky Environmental Quality Commission and Director of Environmental Justice at University of Louisville. Arnita has a MA degree in Management and Human Resource, BS in education.
