About Revitalized Communities

 Yolanda Bouchee is the Founding Principal and President of Revitalized Communities. As an Environmental Protection Specialist with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, she worked closely with hundreds of residents who often felt isolated and vulnerable to the decisions of industry and the long-term effects on their communities and their homes. As Regional Chief of Superfund Community Involvement, she helped transform the Community Involvement process at the EPA, strengthening how agencies engage with the people they serve. As Chief of Brownfield and Land Redevelopment, Yolanda helped transform communities from underutilized areas of contamination and blight to useful, productive community assets.

Today, through Revitalized Communities, she brings that experience into a new model, working with local governments and developers to form structured partnerships with residents and stakeholders before any plans, cleanups, or redevelopment concepts are created.

This approach is guided by the ALIGN Development Partnership Framework a community-centered process that aligns policy, people, and place to guide redevelopment toward shared prosperity.

 Revitalized Communities works with municipalities, community development organizations, and project teams to guide redevelopment with long-term impact.

We partner with developers, engineers, and consultants, but our role is distinct.

We guide projects by bringing government, stakeholders, and communities into alignment before key decisions are made.

By elevating community insight alongside policy and project goals, we help shape development that is realistic, supported, and positioned for long-term success.
