ALIGN Partnership Framework
What is ALIGN?
A process of facilitated conversations where community insight and government priorities are considered equally.
Community benefits that include economic development and community prosperity features are designed in partnership with the development plan.
Community representatives are also trained to be effective partners in the development process and stewards of their negotiated benefits.

Are you the head of a government or planning agency that has its own development planning and engagement staff? Would you like help on a particular site in advance of making development decisions?
The ALIGN process is perfect for you.
In 45-90 days, we will:
- interview a large representative group of all types of stakeholders;
- Give you an analysis of what they want and need in their community as it relates to the project or its surroundings;
- Give suggestions on how achieving alignment can be feasible, and still give the community economic and prosperity benefits.
- Hold a forum with you and the community and put together a negotiated partnership benefits agreement.
- Work with your Developer to determine the most realistic manner to integrate this agreement into the project.
- Give you the option to work with our sister nonprofit, Community Prosperity Institute, to ensure representative community members are well-trained to be partners in this development process and have the ability to steward the agreed-upon benefits.
Then we are done until you need us again. All of this at one price.
