Recent Projects:
Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG)- 6 year client-Brownfield Grant Engagement in Indiana and Michigan communities along the Lakeshore
Muncie, Indiana-Trained community stakeholders on Brownfield Grant outreach and process. Consulted on planning for Assessment Grant investment
2. Economic Development Strategy
Aligning projects with long-term growth and community priorities
Recent Projects:
Chicago/Evanston, IL- Particpated on team that designed the Howard St Economic Development Plan
St Paul, MN- St Paul Chamber of Commerce- Technical Assistance for united business development plan in a community that consists of three cities.
3. Environmental Justice Integration
Ensuring development reflects community needs and history
Recent Projects:
Evanston, IL- Environmental Equity Investigation- Investigated conditions and policies that affected imbalance in Environmental Justice areas of city. Gave policy change recommendations and mitigation plans. Proposal was unanimously accepted by City Council.
Minneapolis, MN-Green Zone policies and standards-Gave recommendations to city and community groups for development

4. Sustainable Preservation & Design
Guiding adaptive reuse and long-term design impact
Recent Projects:
Louisville, Ky- South Side Community Gateway- Hosted design charrettes and design review workshops for culturally-focused design in a community with a large immigrant population. Community voted on best design for the gateway to represent culture and history of the area.
South Bend, IN-Ward Bakery- Led design charettes and adaptive reuse sessions to determine highest and best use for a historic manufacturing building used as a large bakery.
5. Pre-Development Strategy & Alignment
Positioning projects early for successful execution
Current Project:
Elkhart, IN-Roundhouse Redevelopment-Worked on assessment and cleanup planning of large brownfield previously used as a railroad roundhouse. Planning for community insight and benefits from development of community central mixed use district.
