Founder/ Principal
Yolanda Bouchee founded Revitalized Communities, LLC in 2019. Her leadership has made it a dynamic, innovative company centered around partnerships to benefit communities throughout the country. Yolanda founded this company on the premise that, developers who start by listening and partnering with community members , design and build the most successful community projects. She helps community stakeholders be leaders in the community development process and engages them all the way to project completion.
Yolanda has built a team and has partnered with companies that subscribe to the same philosophy of offering complete development services that meet the desires of the community.
Yolanda spent 16 years at the US Environmental Protection Agency in a successful career that included serving as Regional Chief of Brownfields and Land Redevelopment as well as Regional Chief of Superfund Community Involvement. She has over 25 years Environmental Justice and Community Engagement experience as well as nearly 20 years in Community Development. She has honed her skills of listening to stakeholders on all levels and providing results that are sustainable and reflect the desires of those who live in the areas she serves.
Besides her development experience, Yolanda is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago where she teaches Critical Thinking in Public Health.
